Where is my financial aid?

Financial Aid disburses 2 to 3 times in the beginning of each semester. For Fall 2010, financial Aid disbursed on August 25, 2010 and September 2, 2010. To view your financial aid disbursement before it posts to ISIS, you can visit my.ufl.edu. Go to My Campus Finances, and then Disbursements. Click on the date of your disbursement and it will show the amount as well as where it covers deferred charges.

What if my UF ID splits in half?

There comes a time in all of our college careers when our plastic doesn’t quite hold up to the test of time. It could be the pool parties that we go to, the constant swiping at Gator Dining, or just the wearing down of age. Quite possibly the technology UF uses to create our IDs is dated? For some of us, this comes three months into school, others two years, and still some never.

When does Drop/Add End?

What is iService?

If you are a student who lives on campus, you are bound to one time or another run into issues with maintenance for your living arrangements. To assist you with these issues, the University of Florida contracts their maintenance through an online service system called iService. The iService Desk is free to use. If you have issues for a burned out lightbulb, vomit stains on the carpet, a broken toilet or a broken wall outlet — to name a few — the University of Florida maintenance staff for your housing area should resolve your issue within 24 to 72 hours.

How do I get cable working on my television?

Setting up your cable television through UF is as easy as setting up television at your house. Simply turn on your television and check through the menu options for a setting that lets you change your T.V. from your satellite or dish setting to cable or digital. Different settings are appropriate for different televisions. Once you change this setting, of course make sure that your antenna is set-up, your cable plugged into your T.V. (nicely tightened without any pinches) and the wall, and be sure to re-scan all your channels. At this point, your cable should be up and running. If not, check to make sure you are not on a video setting like HD, Video 1, or so forth.
